100 cubic yards of mulch is set aside the first business day of each month for residents of the cities of Roanoke and Salem, Roanoke County and the Town of Vinton on a first come – first served basis. When the monthly supply runs out, another 100 cubic yards will be made available the first business day of the next month. Mulch is available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 am and 12:30 pm and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 pm and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm except for designated holidays. A cover or tarp for the mulch is required. Only one scoop will be loaded per visit for pick-up trucks and small trailers.
